I woke up the next day and realized something, I still haven't seen May since Drew took her last night. So I went over to Ash's room to see that Drew wasn't in their room either. So everyone tried to search for them, but... they were no where to be found.
"Where could they be?" Dawn said with a worried expression
"Who knows and who cares?" Paul mumbled
"We do!"
"Seriously, you gotta stop being a jerk, Paul..." Gary said
"Hmph..."
I was really worried. Where's May and Drew? We started getting to the top of Mt. Silver, and Ash was being really quiet with everyone.
"Hey Ash, you okay?" I asked
"Huh... Oh... Yeah! I'm fine." he answered
"Are you sure? You seem... very quiet with everyone."
"Y-Yeah! Why are you even asking me this?"
"Let's just all focus on just one thing, and that's May and Drew. Besides, you shouldn't be yelling at Misty like that Ash..." he said while winking at Ash
Gary told me to come into the forest with him, so I went...
WITH ASH...
"*Sigh...*"
FLASHBACK:
"Hey Ash! Did you see Misty go down the mountain on those skis?" Gary said
"Yeah, I was with her... Duh..."
"I think it's finally the perfect time..."
"Perfect time for what?"
"Duh! Finally ask her out!"
"W-What!?"
"I agree with Ash when I say... WHAT!?" Drew said
ANOTHER FLASHBACK...
"Well, it's just that you two are really close..." May said
"Yeah... And that you two look like the perfect couple." Dawn added
"What!? Ash and I are just friends... And we will stay friends."
End of flashback...
"*Sigh...*"
So Gary brought me to the inside of forest...
"So... Now that we're alone..." Gary murmured
"Huh?"
"I wanted to ask you something."
"W-What's that?"
"Do you wanna like... go out with me sometime?" he asked
"WHA!!!!" I screamed, "You just said to focus on May and Drew and now your asking me out!?"
"So I guess that's a no..."
"Well, I'm just not interested in a relationship... with you. I'm sorry..."
He tried to grab my hand, but I slapped him and pushed him away. He tripped on his foot and fell. When he fell, the ground caved in. And Gary fell about 5 feet down...
I panicked and ran to the rest of the group to tell them what had happened. I guided them to where Gary had fallen.
"Guys... Come in here... It's amazing!" he yelled from inside
We went inside to see that it had a tunnel leading down deeper into the ground.
