Who Forgets You?

It all started when I fished him out of the lake... he was the most annoying person I ever met...But... that was when we first saw each other. His Pikachu was hurt and my big mouth and I told him to go to the Pokemon Center. So... he stole my bike and wrecked it on his way to the Pokemon Center. Hah! I hated him for that. But that's not why I started following him around...  Well one thing led to another and we became good friends... some people say that we were so close that we were inseparable... I liked it when they said that... I liked Ash for SO LONG.I just couldn't find the right words...  There were some awkward moments between us... and there were some moments that I never regretted. But there came a day when my sisters had tickets for a trip around the world.. that day changed my life forever.... I HAD TO TAKE CARE OF THE GYM FOR THEM... I felt like crying at that moment..."I'll never see Ash again... I'll never see Ash again..." I kept repeating in my head.That day I wanted to tell him my feelings SO BAD! But I couldn't...So Ash and I went our separate ways... It was only gonna be for a while right? Just until they come back from their trip. But Ash and I were wrong. I had to stay at the gym for most of my life as the new Gym Leader. Horray...Almost a year had past since I had saw Ash... I was much more grown and mature. And most importantly... It was Valentines Day....I found out last minute that he was coming back to Kanto, so I got all my stuff ready and prepared myself to finally tell him. I opened up an empty Pokeball and put chocolates inside with a note on the top, then finalized it by putting a bow on it... I was finally ready...I came up to his front door with my prettiest clothes on. I suddenly stopped...Something didn't feel right. People don't usually come to his house? Do they? I started to panic... I looked in the window... and my suspicions were confirmed.He came back to Kanto with another girl...   She was a blunette with a beanie on... she had on a short skirt and a black top. He forgot about me... the girl's Piplup looked at me causing Ash to turn around. Ash looked at me in shock causing him to run to the door. "Misty what are you doing here?" He asked me as the girl looked at me in jealousy.Tears started pouring down my face... my heart was ripping apart piece by piece.He tried wiping my tears from my face but I slapped his hand away and shoved the chocolate filled Pokeball into his chest. I started running towards the gym as he shouted my name over and over again. When I got into my room I felt like my heart was ripped out. Instead of crying... i tried to take it off my mind... but I couldn't... I then opened my journal and wrote:"What if the one that broke your heart is the only one that can fix it?"Ugh... another question to be answered... I already had so many questions in my mind.Why her? Why now? Why Ash out of all the guys in the world? I was just so confused...But she was perfect for him. Prettier and a better trainer... I was nothing to Ash anymore... A couple months passed and I had some things to take care of in Unova. I've never really been there. But I've heard many things about it...I knew that Ash and the Blunette girl were having a long distance relationship since she lives in Sinnoh. So I wasn't surprised if Ash got new friends that replaced me like he did with May.  When I into the plane I was surprised to see that the Blunette was on the plane. I sat in the seat before her but I saw her beanie and long Blunette hair. I knew it was her because she walked past me in the plane. She gave me a glare like she had recognized me from before... but I don't think she did from what I saw. I heard her talking to a guy in the seat next to her. He had a kinda scary voice. Like he was mad... But you can tell they were flirting... When the plane landed, I quickly jumped from my seat. I looked at the person sitting next to her.He had purplish grey hair with a scary expression on his face when he realized I was looking at him. I quickly looked away and got off the plane. When everyone got off... I realized the truth..She was cheating... I repeated it in my head till I got to the nearest Pokemon Center."Welcome to the Pokemon Center!" said Nurse Joy."Do your Pokemon need a check up?" she asked."No.. but I need to find the person that makes the Cerulean Gym badges. I heard he lives here."As Nurse Joy began to explain, I started to focus on something else... there was someone staring at me... I started getting nervous and saw a boy at the corner of my eye with two other people.He was just staring at me... "Is that all you wanted?" Nurse Joy asked me."Y-Yes.. uh.. c-can you let me stay here to-tonight?" I said as the boy approached me."Of course!" she shouted.I quickly walked away trying to get away from this boy. But he didn't come toward me again...I didn't look at him at all... but he was asking about me to Nurse Joy." Hey Nurse Joy...  Who is that girl?" he asked"I don't know.. I think she is a Gym Leader though..."I was officially freaked out enough to turn around. And to my surprise, it was Ash. "Ash?!" I shouted as I ran up to him.His friends that were sitting down started to panic and ran up to him."Uh... who are you?" he asked"I'm Mis-"I was cut by his friends. They literally shut my mouth. I kinda bit my tongue, which caused it to bleed. They pulled me to the corner of the room and started yelling at me."Calm down! Who are you guys? And why is Ash being so weird to me?" I shouted at them."Ash isn't himself anymore.""Yah. He had an accident." They both whispered."He might have known you before, but he lost part of his memory... he fell off of a small building damaging his memory." "HOW!" I yelled causing Ash to run over there."Do you know who I am, Ash?" I asked."Uh... no. But I feel so.. close to you. Like I've known you for years.." he told me."I'm Misty Waterflower! Your Best Friend!" I cried as tears stared running down my face.I fell to the ground bursting in tears as Ash tried to comfort me. As usual, he picked me up and wiped my tears.. like the Ash I knew before... I kept trying to remind him of his past until it finally struck him. He sat down and told us he had the worst headache. A couple seconds later, he looked up at me."M-Misty?...MISTY!!" he yelled.He jumped up and burst into tears. He told me about the Blunette.. I guess her name was Dawn and she cheated on him weeks ago. He looked up at me and smiled. I kinda blushed as he stared at me. He then looked at his friends and said " We're staying for the night!"He grabbed my hand and brought me to the room. It had two bunk beds, but I don't think that was what Ash was planning on doing. He told me to put my stuff down so we could talk outside.We both went outside to the rose garden. It was kinda romantic actually. He leaned against the wall and slipped his hands in his pockets. He looked really cute as he looked at me dead in the eyes. I didn't know what he was doing, but he looked nervous."Hey Mist... What is a relationship to you?" he asked "Uh. Well I think it's about commitment and love to your mate.""Really? That's exactly how I would have described it!" he said with a soft voice.It was kinda weird to hear Ash with a voice like that. Usually he has an annoying voice, but this time, he had the softest voice I've heard from him.   I turned around for a second to wipe off drops of water from the water fountain. And I noticed that he was closer to me than before. A LOT closer. I felt his warm hand touch my fingertip. I started to panic. His hand was holding mine by the time I looked down to see if I was going crazy. "Ash? What are you doing?" I asked as my voice trembled."Mist.. I've been thinking... well.. before I lost my memory.. about that day when you came to my house with those chocolates inside the Pokeball..." he started telling me."Misty... I want to be with you..." he told me."B-but.. i'm your best friend, I'm always with you." I said even though I knew what he meant.He giggled at me and smiled."I'll show you what I mean..." he whispered in my earHe took both of my hands and leaned in towards me.. I panicked, but... I leaned in too.   He pulled back smiled at me. I kissed him one more time... and I knew it was a new beginning..We had finally found the one... I found him... and he found.. me..Pokeshipping EpilogueAsh and Misty are happily married and will always be together... Dawn and her boyfriend Paul are now engaged and live happy lives... Ash forgave Dawn and is now good friends with Dawn and Paul...
